Shimla

Shimla is a small town which is the state capital of Himachal Pradesh, India. Shimla is located on a hill with a height of more than 2000 meters. Before visiting Shimla, prepare your body for cold temperatures.

Shimla City is a very comfortable place to walk, especially in the area of The Ridge, The Mall, and Scandal Point. Three areas are non-vehicle areas. This policy makes Shimla free from pollution. It’s air very clean and fresh air. When you walk, you’ll likely enjoy the beauty of the mountain chain bordering this small town.
Series of terraced mountain with a peak is snow-capped Himalayas, is beautiful scenery that you’ll meet. Also lined up a row of storefront shops along The Mall, add your beautiful tourist attractions in Shimla.

At The Mall, you can see rows of clothing stores to cafes. You’ll find not only local products, but also imported products. When you walk down along the stairs from The Mall, then you will arrive at Middle Bazaar. Though not as beautiful as The Mall, you will find many local products such as handbags and socks with a cheaper price.

Meanwhile, in the area of The Ridge, you can see a towering church. This yellow walls church is the second oldest church in India. The Ridge also have a library, a few cafes and bars, and park benches that could be where you can relax to enjoy sunshine and sunset.

Although age of Shimla was no longer young, Shimla City remains a beautiful place to travel. Governments and citizens maintain the authenticity of buildings which has existed since the British colonial era this. The old buildings are not just in a good condition, but also have a good function.
