Set amidst rocky terrains, high cliffs and green valleys, Bandhavgarh National Park contains numerous tigers, leopards, bears, elephants, and a wide variety of native birds. The best time to see the animals is at dawn or late in the afternoon. Note, however, that the park is closed during the monsoon season.
Andaman and Nicobar Islands – Bay of Bengal
This union territory of India consists of over 500 islands of all sizes. Andaman and Nicobar Islands are home to some of the finest coral reef ecology in the entire world, making it a favorite diving and snorkeling site among both locals and foreigners. Crystal clear blue waters, reef formations and lagoons are definitely sights you want to see.

If you are in Tamil Nadu, the Ekambaranathar Temple is definitely a sight to see. This temple stretches out into 5 acres of land, with entrances in four different locations. The temple’s main shrine, Gayatri Mandapa, is comprised of 24 pillars that represent the 24 alphabets of the Gayatri Mantra.
Lotus Temple – Kalkaji, New Delhi
The Lotus Temple, also known as the Bahai Temple, is one of the world’s most famous cultural architectural pieces of all time. Located in the heart of India, this lotus-shaped house of worship is open to people of all walks of faith. The lotus is believed by many to represent God’s manifestation, as well as a symbol of tenderness and purity. People flock to the Lotus Temple to meditate and to seek tranquility and peace.
Konark Sun Temple – Konark, Orissa
The Konark Sun Temple is a 13th century work of art, and is one of the most recognized temples in all of India. Legend states that this sun temple was constructed by Samba, who was Lord Krishna’s son. It was believed that Samba’s father cursed his son with leprosy. After 12 years, Samba was completely healed by the Sun God, Surya. This UNESCO World Heritage Site was built in his honor.
